In Good Faith - I'm Still Alive (People Theatre's Unsure 80s Rework)

 

Taken from the eponym EP, released 7 May 2020, "I'm Still Alive" is a catchy track by In Good Faith, the German electronic band formed by Kai Vincenz Németh (also singer of Beyond Border and Model Kaos), Jörg Allenbach and Frank-Michael Speer. The version here is the excellent remix by Peter Rainman, aka People Theatre.

Depeche Mode - Before We Drown

 

Since Depeche Mode is everywhere today, here's my little contribution with this track taken from their brand new album 'Memento Mori'. PS: I haven't been able to upload the video on my YouTube channel because Sony has blocked the audio there, so the video has been posted on Vimeo instead, sorry for the inconvenience :(

Taken from the album 'DNA', released 1 May 2018, 'Be Yourself' is a great track by Dark Insights, the German electronic project formed by Björn Beekman. Electronic Frequency - Moon Landing

 

Taken from their first album "Kampfraum Guben", released 1 August 2010, 'Moon Landing' is a great instrumental track by Electronic Frequency, the German electronic band formed by Christian Kossat & Oliver Schulz. A soaring piece that will make you fly to the moon...or beyond if you're not welcome there :)

 

Zynic - Who's To Blame?

 

While we're waiting for his upcoming album 'Extend The End', here's another track taken from Zynic's first album 'Fire Walk With Me', released 29 April 2011. 'Who's To Blame?' is another brilliant synthpop tune by Peter Siemandel - a catchy melody, deep lyrics and pleasant vocals, what else could you possibly want ? :)

The Saint Paul - The Future Your Past

 

Taken from the album 'Core', released almost 2 years ago (19 March 2021), 'The Future Your Past' is a beautiful song by The Saint Paul, the German synthpop band formed by Marc Schleser, Paul Kuhs & Robin Podolsky. A melancholic track with majestic synths and a great chorus taken from an excellent - and very underrated - album. Two thumbs up and Happy 2nd Anniversary :)

VNV Nation - Teleconnect Pt. 1

 

Taken from the album 'Transnational', released 11 October 2013, 'Teleconnect Pt. 1' is a classic VNV Nation ballad, showcasing Ronan’s continuing hope for humanity to strive for the more optimistic and productive future we should be capable of attaining. A slow, haunting melody carrying the nostalgia "to find the path from which we strayed."

Taken from their upcoming album "Siren's Call" to be released next month (7 April 2023), 'Beyond My Dreams' is a great track by Final Selection, the German synthpop band founded in 1993 by Riccardo Schult-Nowotny & Mario Tews. After a long hiatus, the band is back with a new studio, a new line-up and a new label, so we wish them all the best for the future :)

Assemblage 23 - Bravery (Solitary Experiments Remix)

 

Taken from the album 'Endure', released 9 September 2016, 'Bravery' is a catchy track by Tom Shear's Assemblage 23 project. The version here is the excellent remix by Solitary Experiments, taken from the Deluxe Edition of the album. And if "some days just waking up is an act of bravery", you'll see that for some people going to school may also be an act of bravery :)

District 13 - And The World Stand Still

 

Taken from the album "As The Blue Sky Faded To Black", released 23 June 2017, 'And The World Stand Still' is a beautiful ballad by District 13, the German synthpop duo formed by Alexander Erbacher & Per-Anders Kurenbach (Michael Volkmer was the second half of the duo until October 2017 but he left for personal reasons and was replaced by Per-Anders shortly after).

DSTRTD SGNL - The Wind

 

DSTRTD SGNL (=Distorted Signal) is a new techno project formed in mid 2022 by Stephan Kessler & Torben Schmidt, two German musician/producers based in the Frankfurt area. 'The Wind', released today 3 March 2023, is their first single, but they have already several other tracks in the work :)
