Beyond Border - Darkest Night (Dominatrix Remix)
After releasing one of the best album in 2021, Beyond Border, the synthpop/synthwave duo from Hildesheim, Germany, has just released the follow-up, 'Awake The Clubs', today 29 April 2022. The album includes 16 remixes and one new cover, Narcotic (the original was from Liquido, the German alt rock band). It was difficult to pick one track from the album, because there are several great remixes by Eisfabrik, N-Frequency or Frozen Plasma just to name a few, but my fav' is the Dominatrix remix of Darkest Night. The original song was already great, but this remix just brings it to another level. A masterpiece :)
Technomancer - Blade Runner
Taken from 'Path Of Destruction EP' released 15 November 2013, here's a great cover of Blade Runner, the instrumental masterpiece from Vangelis. This version by Technomancer, the synthpop/EBM project by Alexandria J. Digre aka Alyxx, stays close to the original and is highly recommended if you've never heard it before :)

Taken from the album 'Morbid Attitude' released 7 May 2021, 'Until The End Of Time' is a cool synthpop track from Third Realm, the eclectic project founded in 2000 by Nathan Reiner from Buffalo, New York. The album version was too short in my opinion, so I've extended a litlle bit...enjoy and make sure to watch the video until the end...of time :)

Propaganda - Duel (Bitter-Sweet)
Released exactly 37 years ago in the United Kingdom (22 April 1985), Duel is the second single by the German synthpop group Propaganda. Both the single and their first album, A Secret Wish, had been delayed as a result of the unexpectedly huge success of ZTT's most famous signing, Frankie Goes to Hollywood (the ZTT label was still in its infancy so all its limited resources were spent on promoting and marketing FGTH), but the track still managed to reach number 21 in the UK chart and was a Top 10 hit in both Italy & Netherlands.

The Art Of Noise - Moments In Love (Beaten)
When I need to relax, one of the first track that comes to mind is always 'Moments In Love' from The Art Of Noise, the English avant-garde synthpop group formed in early 1983 by engineer/producer Gary Langan and programmer J. J. Jeczalik, along with keyboardist/arranger Anne Dudley, producer Trevor Horn, and music journalist Paul Morley. Animotion - Obsession (12" Remix)
Originally written and recorded as a duet by Holly Knight and Michael Des Barres in 1983 (Des Barres was recovering from a heroin addiction, so "Obsession" was a familiar word to him but he wanted to write about something that would appeal to a much wider audience, like love...or sex), the song was covered in 1984 by the Los Angeles-based synthpop band Animotion for their self-titled debut album. This version became a success in several countries and remains their biggest hit.

Solitary Experiments - Every Now And Then (Love + Revenge Extended Rework)
A lot of people were waiting for this one and as far as I'm concerned I'm not disappointed at all by Every Now And Then, the new single from the Berlin Futurepop pioneers Solitary Experiments. In fact, I like it so much that I've decided to take one of the remix from the EP - the Love + Revenge rework - and to extend it a little bit. Enjoy and I hope you'll like it :)
