Beyond Border - Gaslighting

Beyond Border - Gaslighting

After 'Mama', here's 'Gaslighting' another track taken from 'Sinner', the brand new EP released by Beyond Border last Friday, 18 November 2022. A catchy EBM song about 'Gaslighting', a modern term deriving from the eponym American movie and describing "a person manipulating someone else so as to make them question their own reality."

PS: The video isn't available yet, but you're all welcome - unless you're a gaslighter - to join us today at 8PM CET for the video premiere :)

Taken from their fourth album 'Prisma', released 10 June 2022, 'Memory Lanes' is a catchy track by Xenturion Prime, the Swedish / Norwegian synthwave duo formed by Bjørn Marius Borg and Hasse Mattsson in 2013. A great track from one of my fav' album released this year, mixing mid-tempo songs with some dancefloor anthems.

A song about cause and effect, following your heart, taking the right decisions and living "in love and light."

PS: The fact that they're playing football in the video has nothing to do with the World Cup...it's just Karma :)

Beyond Border - Mama

One week after 'Saint', here comes 'Sinner', the second EP by Beyond Border, the German synthpop band formed by Kai Vincenz Németh & Michael Deiters (with the help of keyboardist K.T. Habel for live performances). I'm sure you all know the song created by Genesis in 1983, involving "a young teenager that's got a mother fixation with a prostitute that he's just happened to have met in passing and he has such a strong feeling for her and doesn't understand why she isn't interested in him." A touchy subject for a video, so I've changed the context a bit to make it accessible to all audiences but I'm sure you will all love this amazing cover of 'Mama'.

PS: The video isn't available yet, it will be online today at 8PM CET, so don't be shy and join us for the premiere :)

Taken from his eight studio album 'Revolution Of The Heart', released 24 October 2005, 'Respected' is a cool ballad by Howard Jones, the British classically-trained pianist who turned synthpop star. A great track from a great album, marking a return to the electronic production that featured on Jones' early albums.
